Volunteer

The Winnipeg Singers has long been considered one of Canada’s finest choral ensembles. The choir has been recognized for excellence by the Canada Council for the Arts, by Winnipeg Mayor Brian Bowman, and was selected as “best choir” at international festivals in Florence, Italy (2016) and in Barcelona, Spain (2019). The choir represented Canada at the World Choral Symposium in Japan. The choir's Artistic Director and Conductor is the renowned Maestro Yuri Klaz.

Volunteer Opportunities

1. Join the Board of Directors.
   The Board meets quarterly, with additional meetings as required. Board members are expected to help at the four subscription concerts if they are available.

2. Join one of our sub-committees.
   We have busy working committees in areas such as Marketing, Finance, Programming, and Fundraising. These committees meet as needed, and report to the Board of Directors.

3. Volunteer at concerts and events.
   We are always looking for ushers and people to work our ticket table. Help plan, organize and work at fundraising events.
