National Day For Truth & Reconciliation

At our first rehearsal for the season, we wore orange shirts in recognition of Canada’s National Day for Truth & Reconciliation. Orange Shirt Day, as it is also known, has helped us learn about past mistakes and remember the legacy of residential schools. It symbolizes how we are striving for a future where all Indigenous people have equal rights.
