Kayla Vande Kraats
Kayla Vande Kraats is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, School of Music. While obtaining her Bachelor of Music Performance degree, Kayla was the recipient of many awards and prizes including Runner Up (2000) and First Place (2001) in the Lawrence Genser Scholarship competition, runner up in the Zita Berstien Lieder competition and Runner Up in the Rose Bowl Concert at the Winnipeg Music Festival in 2001. Kayla was more recently a part of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s production and tour of Mozart’s The Magic Flute as The First Lady. In 2009, Kayla will be performing with the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir, and singing the role of Cupid in The Musical Offering’s production of Venus and Adonis. This is Kayla’s fifth season with the Winnipeg Singers.
